Steve Brier

Steve Brier is a retired professor of history, urban education, and labor studies at the City University of New York, where he worked for more than four decades. Brier and Paul met at UCLA in 1971 and did history work and radical politics together for half a dozen years in Los Angeles before Brier moved to New York with his family. They remained fast friends and comrades over the course of the next half century, seeing each other whenever Brier visited Berkeley.
